Alwaleed Company is engaged in general trading, including export, import, distribution and supply. We are based in Djibouti, with branches across Africa in Somaliland, Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia.
Our main products are tobacco and cigarettes, alongside food products (spices, rice, sugar and chocolate) and consumer products (clothing, crafts and household items).
We believe local products are not inferior in quality to those of the big brands that dominate the market. We help introduce and market international products to the local market, and we want to show that there are no borders between international products and the people of our region — and that we offer products of international standard that can compete. That is the reason Alwaleed Company was founded.
